Christmas... It seems to be a rather special holiday for many of you, much like it is for those in worlds connected to my own.

Merry Christmas, everyone. [...That's what you're supposed to say, right?]



[A while later, ff you're out wandering the village Christmas Eve, you may just notice a familiar figure, however younger they might seem to those who know either of the other two 'Rikus'. Just walking around, covered in layers and still holding onto the journal he arrived with. Though, it is getting rather late... Why is he still outside on tonight of all nights?]

It's not that it isn't. Only that I've never experienced it for myself.

The best thing to do is experience as much as you can then, isn't it? There's so much to Christmas it's hard to take it all in at the same time, but you can definitely try.

Really? [Not that she should be surprised...] Well, what do you want to know about Christmas?

Yes. [When in doubt, blame Sora's love of Halloween?]

What is the reason for celebrating it? Is there a reason for gifts that I've been seeing over this network of sorts?

[...Well, at least the curiosity is similar.]

...well it depends. There's the religious version of Christmas, and then there's the other version. The gifts are generally for the other reason, and it's probably because of Santa Claus. [She's realizing she's not making sense, but.] Santa Claus is a man who spends the whole year working and creating toys for children every year for Christmas. On Christmas Eve then after he's finalized his list of naughty and nice children, he and his reindeer fly around the world and deliver toys. So there's that. We give presents to people we consider our friends, kind of as a way saying we're thinking of them and we want them to have nice holiday season. Like a way of ending the year on a good note.

...none of that really makes sense, does it?

It's a portion of the data I have on Halloween Town. I'm not exactly sure about it, buy Jiminy definitely noted Sora's excitement...

You have to realize that Sora...kind of gets excited about everything.

All of us from inside the journal are merely data from the entries written within its pages. The Sora I know is just that, though I doubt Jiminy's impression of him wasn't too off-base.
