Christmas... It seems to be a rather special holiday for many of you, much like it is for those in worlds connected to my own.

Merry Christmas, everyone. [...That's what you're supposed to say, right?]

[A while later, ff you're out wandering the village Christmas Eve, you may just notice a familiar figure, however younger they might seem to those who know either of the other two 'Rikus'. Just walking around, covered in layers and still holding onto the journal he arrived with. Though, it is getting rather late... Why is he still outside on tonight of all nights?]

Because I was based off of one, before I was chosen from the entries. [a beat] ...and I never really thought I'd get a chance to meet the real one.

The real one's a huge jerk. [The real one has said and done things that Roxas really cannot forgive him for.] And the Replica...I can't quite figure out, to be honest. But you? You make more sense why Sora would have chosen Riku as his best friend.

[He carries the guilt from all of that too--very much aware of what he did from Sora's perspective until the Door was closed.] Something tells me 'the Replica' never will be. [~~y u hatin' on him, bro?~~ but at that part, he chuckles a bit. It's funny sometimes, what you learn by listening to another person's perspective.]

[In all honesty, it just seems like Kiroku's more self-aware than Riku's previously been, and that's enough for Roxas.] ...Kohan's different too, but a different kind of different, if that makes sense. [But he just lifts an eyebrow.] What's so funny?

[welp, way to go whomever chose him to protect the entire set of memories. Way. to. go.] Makes as much sense as anything else in our worlds. [a beat.] It's complicated.

It's just... All I ever knew about what happened was from Sora's perspective, penned down by another. It's interesting to hear things from another's.

I don't know how much my perspective of anything counts. I was asleep for most of it, I've just got his memories and my own thoughts and my own memories from the times I was awake.

Everyone's perspective counts, however little time they've had to experience the events are. That's what shape's history and the records of them, after all.

...man, you even sound smarter than the real one. [Don't mind him, he's just going to laugh a bit.] It's kind of amazing.
